| Shoes at The Rage!!! |
Wow, I just got a batch of handpainted vintage leather shoes, they're UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I've had the good fortune of meeting Mathieu Missiaen (NDEUR), a Parisian artist living in Toronto for the next 6 months with his lovely girlfriend Camille. Mathieu is 25, and screenprints, does computer graphics/website building, designs and builds furniture.........unfortunately, the shoes I photographed up close have already sold (I got them 3 days ago!!), but another load are coming soon. Mathieu's work is urban, modern and FLASH! So unique, it feels like they'd be selling in NY or something. But no, they're at The Rage, proving that Toronto invites and accomodates creative types that are on par with any underground/alternative arts scene anywhere in the world.

Wow, you should be lucky to meet Mathieu Missiaen. And these painted shoes are awesome... I would like to have a pair of Fashion Shoes for this holiday at good deals.
