Ok, not just yet, but by this time next year we should be in our next location. Looking to move further north on Kensington, or on Augusta between Baldwin and College St. The designer roster is evergrowing, as is our customer base! We need more room for hot local shit, def. need more hang out space; people run into eachother here (not literally, not yet), meet new people, party in the fitting rooms (no joke, approx. 6 teenagers can get into one). We need more room to accomodate families, like this cutie crew on the left. It's fun knowing the store is a destination on their biannual trip to the market! I hope we get to watch these girls grow up................. I figure I may as well start notifying people now. If we end up staying here a little longer, then fine. But I'm definitely scheming. Last night I went to the Humber College Fashion Show 'Transition: Order to Chaos'. We had 6 outfits in the show, Preloved and 69 Vintage put in stuff as well. I know I'm not supposed to care, but it was nice being in a show with those guys. Kind of like how a kid in Gr. 5 looks up to the Gr. 8s............It was at the Capitol Events Theatre (Yonge and Eglinton), great venue! The models were good (a low number of models = a billion superfast outfit changes, impressive), hair and makeup was hot, music (indie rock/electronica) was right on. Probably the best amateur show I've been to. Congratulations to the organisers!! If anyone is looking for a Toronto blog, check out www.torontoist.com. It's really good, the pictures are great. |
